You call this archaeology? 20
Apply an elemental artifact
These can drop randomly from enemies or can be given as quest rewards later in the story. Once looted, you can equip these from your backpack by selecting them and pressing to equip. You can also change which artifact you have equipped by going to your Skills Tab in the menu by pressing . To change, it move left from your Action Skill and press to change to which ever one you prefer.

This should come to you as you progress to the final level of your second playthrough. XP can be earned by killing enemies, completing quests, and completing challenges (Challenges can be found by pressing under the quests tab). Re-run the last area of the game on your second playthrough if needed.

Power-leveling can be used to get an early boost this and will definitely help as you progress through the game. To power level, it is required that you have at least 2 players, one who is just starting the game and the other who has completed at least Playthrough 1. The higher level character must teleport to the last level of the game in Playthrough 1 or 2 and rush through and kill all of the enemies. This will allow very large XP boosts to go to the lower-level player. It is possible to get to level 20 during one run and this is very helpful when starting out.
Get A Little Blood on the Tires 20
Kill 25 enemies by ramming them with any vehicle
As soon as you have access to the first Catch-A-Ride in Fyrestone, you'll receive your first vehicle. Simply run over 25 enemies. Going at a decent speed should instantly kill an enemy. Progress can be tracked in the challenges menu.
Rootinest, Tootinest, Shootinest 10
Kill 5 Rakk in under 10 seconds
Rakks are the bat-like creatures that fly in the air and swarm in groups of about 5. You should find swarms in different areas around the game or during the Rakk Hive fight when it shoots them out of its mouth. Simply shoot them as they swoop down and attack. On the quest "Get the Flock Outta Here" there is a hive near the windmills that you can get a lot to spawn.

Another method is to use the Siren class and use the phasewalk action-skill when they're within a close proximity. Because Rakks have fairly low health, they should die as you enter/exit phasewalk. -Thanks to KFZ Scrubs.
Pandora-dog Millionaire 50
Earn $1,000,000
This should come naturally as you progress through the first playthrough. Simply collect and sell dropped loot as you complete the main storyline. If you do not have it by the end of the first playthrough, some weapons/class-mods during the second playthrough will sell for around $100,000+. This is cumulative, so you don't have to have it all at once. Progress can be tracked in the challenges menu.
Fence 25
Sell 50 guns to a shop
This should also be achieved before the end of the first playthrough. Simply collect loot dropped from enemies, found in chests, and rewarded in quests and then sell it to a vendor. Selling med-kits and other loot will contribute to this achievement. Progress can be tracked in the challenges menu.
Can't We Get BEYOND Thunderdome? 25
Win an arena match
You can do this on splitscreen, system link, or over Xbox-Live. All you need to do is win an arena match. This is easy to boost with friends or by yourself on splitscreen. There is an arena in Fyrestone early on near one of the bandit camps. Only the host can start the arena once you have entered the lobby of the Arena. Nearby Arenas throughout the game will be marked by an "Arena" sign. The one in Fyrestone is near the starting area, and looks like a staircase that leads downward towards the entrance.
Duel-icious 15
Win a duel against another player
See Duelinator for more information.
Group LF Healer 25
Rescue a groupmate from death in a co-op game
You can do this on splitscreen, system link, or over Xbox-Live. Whether your teammate is overwhelmed by enemies and is downed or he purposely downs himself, run over to him and press and hold to begin reviving him. Once he is revived the achievement will pop-up.
There's No "I" In "Team" 30
Complete 15 missions in co-op
You can do this on splitscreen, system link, or over Xbox-Live. As you progress through the game with a partner this will unlock.
And They'll Tell Two Friends 10
Play in a co-op game with either an employee of Gearbox or someone who has this achievement
You can do this on splitscreen, system link, or over Xbox-Live, as long as your partner has the achievement already. This is a viral achievement, so either search for an online game, or play with someone you know has it.
Weapon Aficionado 20
Reach proficiency level 10 with any weapon type
Weapon proficiency increases as either you or a partner kills enemies. You do not have to kill the enemy to gain proficiency. As long as it's equipped while a partner kills enemies it will continue to increase. This will come to you as you progress through the game. This can be viewed under the first tab in the character-menu.
Duelinator 35
Win a duel without taking damage
You can do this on splitscreen, system link, or over Xbox-Live. To start a duel, go up to a person in your group and melee them to initiate the duel. For them to accept the duel, they will melee you back. To do this just let one person attack the other while the other person does nothing. Then do the same for the other person. You must not receive "damage" but damage on the shield will not negate this achievement.
Facemelter 25
Kill 25 enemies with corrosive weapons
See Master Exploder for more information.
1.21 Gigawatts 25
Kill 25 enemies with shock weapons
See Master Exploder for more information.
Pyro 25
Kill 25 enemies with incendiary weapons
See Master Exploder for more information.
Master Exploder 15
Kill 25 enemies with explosive weapons
Weapons and grenade mods in this game have different elemental types. You can tell what they are to the right of the stats on the gun. These can be bought in the store or looted from enemies and chests. Killing the enemies with the specific type of elemental weapon will count towards this achievement. You can check your progress on each elemental type in the challenges menu.

The rocket on your vehicle counts as an explosive weapon and will count towards this achievement. Adding elemental artifacts to your action skill will also count toward these achievements. -Thanks to KFZ Scrubs
There are some who call me...Tim 25
Equip a class mod for your character
This is unlocked fairly early in the game and can be done before you leave Fyrestone.
One of the missions will require you to complete the objective and come back to Dr. Zed, he will then reward you with a class mod. Simply equip it as you would a grenade mod in the inventory.
Fully Loaded 10
Rescue enough Claptraps to earn 42 inventory slots
You need to rescue claptraps in the various locations to be rewarded with 3 more inventory slots.

-Thanks to hewster1 for the Claptrap locations.

Truly Outrageous 15
Kill an enemy with the Siren's action skill
Once you reach level 5 with your Siren, you will unlock her action skill. Going in/out of phasewalk will send out a shockwave that will damage your enemies. Adding artifacts to this can also contribute to the elemental weapon kills achievements. To use the Siren's action skill, use . To exit immediately push in .
Careful, He Bites 15
Kill 15 enemies with the Hunter's action skill
Once you reach level 5 with your Hunter, you will unlock his action skill. You can send his bloodwing to attack by pressing . After he attacks someone, he will return to you and you must wait the appropriate cooldown time before using him again. Spending points in the "Bloodwing" tree will reduce the cooldown and increase the damage and speed of Bloodwing. To be on the safe side, weaken your enemies before using the Bloodwing.
Reckless Abandon 15
Kill 15 enemies with the Berserker's action skill
Once you reach level 5 with your Beserker, you will unlock his action skill. Simply press and go into Beserk. Use the for a upper-cut and the to jab enemies. Pressing the to kill enemies is faster because you can throw more punches than when using the .
Down in Front! 15
Kill 15 enemies with the Soldier's action skill
Once you reach level 5 with your Soldier, you will unlock his action skill, which is a turret. Use to place the turret. Weakening enemies before you deploy it will be helpful.

Secret Achievements

12 Days of Pandora 30
Mastered the technology of Pandora
For this achievement you must complete the challenge "12 Days of Pandora".
(12 Assault Rifle Kills. 11 Pistol Kills. 10 Shotgun Kills. 9 SMG Kills. 8 Sniper Rifle Kills. 7 Melee Kills. 6 Critical Hit Kills. 5 Explosive Kills. 4 Shock Kills. 3 Incendiary Kills, 2 Corrosive Kills, 1 Grenade Kill.)
Progress can be checked in the challenges menu.
Wanted: Sledge 10
Killed Sledge
Story related, can't be missed.
Sledge is a close-quarters combat boss so try and keep your distance from him and aim for his head. Because of Sledge's powerful hammer, it is recommended that you do this with a partner, getting one teammate to distract Sledge while the other continues to attack him.
Wanted: Krom 20
Killed Krom
Story related, can't be missed.
Taking Krom on from the walkways is irritating because you are an easy target and can be killed quickly from his turret. Make your way up to him and strafe back and forth as you slowly lower his health.
Wanted: Flynt 30
Killed Flynt
Story related, can't be missed.
Stock up on med-kits prior to the fight because Flynt is surrounded with plenty of henchmen at the start. After wiping them out, proceed up the ramp that rises to your right coming off of the elevator and finish him off.
Destroyed the Hive 40
Killed the Rakk Hive
Story related, can't be missed.
Simply shooting the Rakk Hive in any of its many eyes will result in a critical hit, aim for these.
Destroyed The Destroyer 50
Killed the Vault Boss
Story related, can't be missed.
When fighting the final boss, aim for the large eye at the top to deal a critical hit with each successive shot. Keep your distance to avoid its tentacle, but be aware that its shockwave cannot be dodged. If you're a hunter, however, a health-regen class mod will help against this. Best to be done with multiple players on the second playthrough.
United We Stand 35
Defeated the Rakk Hive, the Vault Boss, Sledge, Krom, or Flynt in a co-op game
Simply play a co-op game over system-link, Xbox-Live, or splitscreen and defeat one of these bosses. Difficulty will increase, but that shouldn't matter with more than one person.
You're on a boat! 15
I bet you never thought you'd be here.
When you enter the area Treachers Landing, open up your map. If you zoom out and look on the right side of the map, you can see a single dock all by itself. Just head over to the dock and jump on the boat holding a chest for the achievement.

Making a Monster 10
Build the New Car: Monster
Awarded for completing the quest in T-Bone Junction entitled "Greasemonkey." You get this quest from Scooter as soon as you complete the DLC's second quest, "Boost the Monster." That quest requires you to find three parts for the new vehicle.

- The supercharger can be found in the lowest portion of the level closest to the far right semicircle as seen on the map. It's almost dead center of the map and behind a small shack.
- The nitrous oxide tank can be found in the middle of the right semicircle of the map in a trash pile Near Marcus' place. NOTE: Going near this part will begin the quest "Wanted: Dead!"
- The exhaust pipe can be found at the bottom of top left semicircle attached to a car that's crashed into a pole. It's right next to Zed's place.

With all three parts in hand, return to Scooter's and put the pieces on the Monster. After installing the parts, hit the switch and watch the scene. Once the Monster disappears, turn the quest into Scooter for the achievement.
Athena, Out 25
Rescue Athena
After you complete the quest "Prison Break: Over the Wall" you will enter Lockdown Palace and receive the quest "Prison Break: Try Not to Get Shanked." Your goal here is to Kill Mr. Shank, grab the PTD and free Athena. First you must make your way through the prison until you see the shower scene and begin fighting Mr. Shank. The key to fighting him is to stay far away (he's a melee fighter) and take his shield down with an electric elemental weapon. Once his shield's down, you can shoot him with a fire weapon and he'll be dead in no time. After he falls, pick up the PTD next to his body and fight your way to Athena's cell. The achievement unlocks the moment you hand the PTD over to Athena.
Depot Demolition 25
Destroy the Lance Depot
After you complete the quest "Bridge the Gap" you will enter Road's End and receive the quest "Armory Assault." Your goal here is to kill General Knoxx, enter the code to the Armory (Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Orange) and blow up the Armory. The only difficult part of this for some may be killing General Knoxx. The easiest way to defeat him is to use a highly corrosive weapon on him. Also, be sure to kill any medics that appear right away. They love to drop their healing turrets which heal Knoxx very quickly. After Knoxx is dead, the rest of the mission is self explanatory.

GLITCH WARNING: In order to avoid your game glitching and making the Armory permanently closed, you must do the following:
- Do not quit out of the game once you enter the elevator shaft. Wait until the Armory explodes and the credits are done to quit out.
- Don't have the quests "Super Marcus Sweep" or "It's Like Christmas" in your quest log.
Vincible 50
Kill Crawmerax the Invincible
This is probably the hardest achievement in the DLC to do solo since he is level 64 on both playthroughs. Crawmerax is a giant lobster type monster that you fight during the quest "You. Will. Die." The hardest part about him is that both he and the little minions he has running around him can take almost all your health in just one hit. This means that you need to use a lot of teamwork with your partners to ensure that no one is concentrated on by the enemy. The way to actually injure Crawmerax is to shoot the purple soft spots on his body. He has six in total - one in his eye, one on each of his four claws and one on his back. Once the final purple spot is destroyed, Crawmerax will fall and drop a LOT of loot (very rarely pearlescents though).

In addition to the above, there are a couple of other little tips that may help you defeat this giant lobster.
- For his minions that annoy the heck out of you, the Green Craw Worms are weak against fire, the Armored Craw Worms are weak against corrosive, and Craw Maggots are weak against shock.
- There is a spot you can get Crawmerax stuck in that can really help you kill him fast. Read HERE for more info. Thanks to Powerman1469 for the help.
Sneaky Little Buggers 25
Kill each of the loot midgets
Loot midgets are fairly tough little buggers that jump out of various loot containers. They come in five varieties and can sometimes be found in multiple locations. Below is a list of the types of loot midgets and at least one of their locations:

Meat Popsicle: Hides in refrigerators. Can be found in the lowest portion of T-Bone Junction or in the midget village in Sunken Sea

Dumpster Diver: Found in the dumpster in the area where you kill Motorhead

Truxican Wrestler: Found in one of the lockers at the beginning of Lockdown Palace

Mini Steve: Found inside normal red weapons chests. Can be found in one in Lockdown Palace

Crimson Shorty: Found in one of the Crimson Lance Chests at the end of the Road's End map (just before the Armory)
Speed Kills 25
Destroy a Lancer while in a Racer
Racers are the vehicle you drive around from the original game. They are the weakest of the three vehicles you can choose from. Lancers are the APCs that the Crimson Lance drive around. They essentially look like a tank with wheels. The racers become available for you to drive after you talk with Moxxi for the first time.

Once you are able to drive a racer, head on up to "The Ridgeway." If you haven't already, grab a racer and head down the ramp. At the bottom there should be a Lancer. The easiest way to kill it is to stay as far away as you can and shoot rockets at it. If you are being shot at, simply swerve back and forth. The weapon on the Lancer is direct fire, so if you move around they can't hit you. Once the Lancer is destroyed, the achievement will pop.
Ding! Overleveled 15
Reach Level 51
This achievement should come fairly early on into the DLC. You should be on playthrough two at this point and I suggest that you play the DLC on it to maximize the amount of experience you can gain. If you're like me, you may not have finished playthrough two of the original game. If this is true, I suggest you do those quests to get yourself to about level 52/53 before you even start the DLC. The reason for this is that playthrough two quests for this DLC start at level 51. If you're under that, you may have a tough time surviving.

See Ding! Overleveled to 11 for more info.
Ding! Overleveled to 11 40
Reach Level 61
This is the highest you can get your level to legitimately. Getting there will require you to accumulate 5985083 total experience. Though this may sound like a lot, there's more than enough experience available in this DLC to make it there. Any experience earned from the original game or other DLCs count towards you experience total. Therefore if you haven't completed missions from those stories feel free to do so once download this DLC. With completing missions and killing enemies, you should level up very quickly. If you want to really expedite the process though, you could try to join a group killing Crawmerax as that boss and his minions give boat loads of XP.
Completionist 25
Complete all missions in Secret Armory
Below is a list of all missions available in this DLC. They are separated by area you receive them with the quest giver in parentheses. You must complete all of these missions in the same playthrough in order to get the achievement. In other words, playing all but one mission in playthrough 2 and the other in playthrough 1 will not net you the achievement.
